HOW TO GROW ON INSTAGRAM
Instagram has SO many ways to share content; Reels, in-feed post, IGTV, Stories, Highlights, and IG LIVE. Unfortunately, most people are not using all these features and miss out on major opportunities to reach a bigger audience.
THE BEST WAY TO GROW ON INSTAGRAM?
1) Use everything the app has to offer.
Don't stress yourself out to create a different type of content for everything you want to post. Share your feed post to your stories. Create a reel based on the topic of the post. Then, go live, answering questions and responding to comments!
You can focus on a specific type of post, of course. If photography is your thing, posting high-quality images should be your primary focus. However, you can still diversify your content is unique and exciting ways.
This brings us to tip #2
2) Diversify content type and topic.
THE GOOD NEWS?
Diversifying your content TYPE is a great way to expand your content TOPICS.
If you're a clothing brand and only post products, explore posting a reel of a styling session, go live during a photoshoot to show the BTS, or use stories to create polls to get your customers involved with the design process!
If you want Instagram growth expanding what your page offers is critical. Ask yourself, what is my page posting to KEEP people around? Why should they revisit my page? What am I offering them?
3) Create high-quality content
Once you're doing all of the above, let's up the quality!
I know, I know, the Influencers and brands make it seem like they are posting and going but guess what? They're not.
That perfectly posed couch pic? That was a photoshoot.
The perfect dinner plate picture? They took it 12 times and had all their friends shine their flashlights, so the lighting was perfect.
The plus side? High quality doesn't have to mean expensive (but sometimes it does. Just being honest.)
High-quality means take the time and put in the effort to make sure it looks nice. iPhone pictures can be high-quality. Your canva graphics can be high-quality.
The trick to high-quality content? PRE-PLAN IT! Rushed content is harder to perfect. Give yourself time to make edits, revise the copy and get the picture or graphic looking GOOD!
